Bruce has been selected for the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Great Britain Tennis team for an event in France in early December, see the link below for more details:
The team has 3 men and 3 women, so it's quite an achievement for Bruce to be selected.
  
Annual Club Championships - Finals Day 2015
Saturday the 29th August saw the annual Rubislaw Club Championships finals day. The sunny weather brought plenty of spectators out to see all the great matches on show. Well done to all who entered the different events it's great to see so many members enjoying competing against each other. Congratulations to the winners : Men's Singles - Martin Harbord, Ladies Singles - Karen Crawford, Men's Doubles - James Kirk & Fergus Hermiston, Ladies Doubles - Anne Shipley & Karen Merchant, Mix Doubles - Fergus Hermiston & Sheila Williams and Handicapped Mixed Doubles - Darren Nicol & Francesca Ogilvie. Aegon Team Tennis 2015
Rubislaw will once again be competing in the top division of the Men's Scottish Aegon Team Tennis competition. The men's team hope to go one better than in 2014 when they came runners up. This year will also see a second Rubislaw men's team compete in the competition for the first time.

North of Scotland Championships - Elgin

Well done to Rubislaw pair James Kirk and Darren Nicol for reaching the final of the Men's Singles at the North of Scotland Championships in Elgin. James controlled the final from the start and won comfortably 6-2 6-3. Darren then paired up with Rubislaw's Jonny Gordon in the Men's Doubles final but narrowly lost out 3-6 7-6 10-5 to Elgin pair Derek Grant and Douglas Tait. However, Darren made sure was amongst the trophies by winning the mixed doubles with Liz Hattan beating Elgin pair Peter Scott and Michelle Ness 6-2 5-7 10-3.

 

Rubislaw NESLTA Confined Tournament
The annual NESLTA Confined Tournament will take place at Rubislaw from Sunday 14th June, with the finals being played on Saturday 20th June. The  To see the draw and keep track of the results throughout the week click on the link below.
