Club Finals Day 2014
The annual club championships finals took place on Saturday 30th August. Thanks to those who came along to watch on what was a pretty wed day in parts - and gloriously sunny in other parts. Congratulations to all our winners - and well played to everyone who took part.

Aegon Team Tennis - National Open Playoff's
The Rubislaw men's team of Robert Ainsley, Martin Harbord, Jon Basell and Darren Nicol travelled to play Sutton T&SQ, the 2013 Aegon Team Tennis Champions, in the 2014 National Open Playoffs.
The Rubislaw team were made to feel very welcome by all the Sutton team and had a great day although the Sutton T&SQ  team of Cameron Norrie (Current Singles World Ranking 637), Jathan Malik (Current Singles World Ranking 861), Nick Weal (Former Doubles World Ranking 352) and Arnoud Den Ouden proved too strong for Rubislaw and won the tie 12-0. Rubislaw would like to thank Sutton T&SQ for their hospitality and wish them all the best in the National Finals at The West Hants Club in Bournemouth on 4th -6th July.

Aegon Team Tennis - National Open Playoff's
Rubislaw have been given a tough away draw against Sutton T&SQ of London, the current holders of the Aegon Team Tennis competition. The match will be played on Sunday 29th June with the winner progressing to join another 7 teams to play in the National Finals at The West Hants Club in Bournemouth. Good luck to all the team. Stewart Milne North East of Scotland Indoor Tennis Championships
Congratulations to Rubislaw's Martin Harbord who won the Men's Singles event which was held at the Westburn Tennis Centre. Martin, seeded 3, won the tournament beating Broughty Ferry's Euan Hamilton 6-3 6-4 in the final. Click here for more details. Tennis Scotland News
 
Rubislaw men crowned 2013 Aegon Team Tennis Champions of Scotland
Congratulations to Rubislaw's men's team for becoming the 2013 Aegon Team Tennis Champions of Scotland. Captained by Robert Ainsley, the team also included Bruce Strachan, Martin Harbord, Darren Nicol, Raymond Barclay and Samuel Stead.
After narrowly losing to Braid in their first match on a tie-break shoot out, Rubislaw's men went on to record wins over Western, Strathgryffe, Virgin Active Lanarkshire, and Stirling University. As winners of Division One in the Scottish Regional Tier, Rubislaw qualify for the National Playoffs and look forward to the prospect of a long trip south of the border next June.
